About the Actor Donnie Yen s mother was a famous martial artist so it s no surprise he grew up surrounded by the fighting arts. At eighteen, he was invited to Beijing to train and a chance meeting with the internationally renowned action choreographer, Yuen Wo-Ping, had changed his life.
