I also tried to keep the production simple so that the guitar remained the centerpiece of the album. Each song was perforomed with a great deal of heartfelt energy. This album is intended to warm the heart, lift the spirit, and soothe the soul of the listener. About the Artist For fifteen years, Jerry worked in Nashville making his living as a musician, the last four years of which he appeared nightly at the largest convention center in the United States, the Opryland Hotel. During this time, Jerry, an accomplished songwriter, had his songs recorded by a variety of artists including Conway Twitty, Grand Old Opry star Jeanny Pruitt, and the legendary Eddy Arnold. In recent years, Jerry has made a musical transition from the country sound of Nashville to the music of Ireland and Scotland. This music, with its lively jigs, spirited reels, and hauntingly beautiful airs, comprises most of Jerry's current repertoire.
