About the Artist
JeffMajors is more than just a supremely gifted classical harpist. His compelling music possesses an inspiring spirituality that completely transcends mere entertainment.
A native of Washington, D.C., JeffMajors first heard his calling to the harp in a dream when he was 15 years old. The dream revealed him playing the instrument to chase away demons. He shared the story with a friend that owned a music store, and much to his surprise, his friend hand-crafted a small harp for him.
Jeff heeded his calling, and through several years of intense study with harp master Alice Coltrane wife of jazz giant John Coltrane Jeff displayed faithfulness over his God-given talent.
The classical harp distinguishes JeffMajors sound from other instrumental gospel and Christian renditions. When his fingers caress the strings, JeffMajors speaks to the very heart of humankind and lifts souls with praise. Jeffs new offering, Sacred 2000, is no exception.
