About this item

Alex Askaroff is considered one of the foremost experts in 19th Century sewing machines and their pioneers. Alex has had Seven No1 New Releases on Amazon. His Sewing Machine Pioneer Series has proved popular all over the world. Millions of beautiful machines were made by Germany’s premier sewing machine makers, Frister & Rossmann. For a time the company was second only to the mighty Singer. Starting in Berlin in 1864 the name moved through time and amazingly is still in use to this day. Frister & Rossmann is one of the remarkable survivors in the sewing trade. Here for the first time is the extended full paperback version and most complete history compiled of this fascinating brand name.
