As Janey and Brer Turtle follow Brer Rabbit through his encounters with Brer Bear (Gary Anthony Williams), Brer Wolf (Wayne Brady), and Brer Fox (D.L. Brer Rabbit's exploits lead to his exclusion from friendship with the other animals and, while he does eventually exhibit some compassion toward Brer Turtle, he remains a trickster to the end who's professed secret is to "give the other animals what they think they want."
