Set Contains: Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties has two cuts of the film on the single-sided disc. The extended version is only playable in widescreen, while the original theatrical version is only playable in full-screen. Presumably the assumption (not always correct) is that kids who won't watch movies in widescreen are the same kids who won't sit through the longer version. Either way, the extended version of is only 8 minutes longer, stretching the running time from 78 minutes to 86. The added footage is minor, most prominently in a new scene in which Lord Dargis discovers the animals having a pool party. Other features are a Brian Anthony music video "Come and Get It," creator Jim Davis demonstrating how to draw Garfield, Odie, and Pooky, one exclusive "Garfield" comic strip, and two decent games.
