The no-holds-barred comic antics of Anchorman's Will Ferrell and Ride Along's Kevin Hart unite in this raucous comedy about an easy-living man getting ready to do hard time. When millionaire hedge fund manager James King (Ferrell) is nailed for fraud and sentenced to a ten-year stretch in San Quentin. Desperate, he turns to Darnell Lewis (Hart) to toughen him up for life behind bars. But despite King's one-percenter assumptions, Darnell is a hard-working business owner who's never gotten a parking ticket, much less gone to prison! Nevertheless, the two do whatever it takes for King to "get hard" for prison, and, in the process, discover how mistaken they were about each other. Written and directed by the writer of Tropic Thunder and Men in Black 3, this jailhouse comedy is produced by Will Ferrell's Gary Sanchez Productions (Anchorman 2, Step Brothers).
