The program begins at Level 1 where students learn to read and spell 1-syllable words with short vowels. Gradually, spelling rules, Sight Words and word families are introduced. By Level 4 the student has learned to read and spell all 1-syllable words with consonant clusters, digraphs, short vowels and basic suffixes.

Utilizing the proven Orton-Gillingham Practical Linguistics methodology, this program provides lesson plans structured for success. Lesson plans are cumulative, with every lesson progressing in simple steps while practising previously taught material. Review lessons are included throughout to ensure consolidation of skills and concepts.
