Most of the tracks on 5 lack the heartfelt emotion emitted on "Thinking of You." A moving tribute to his departed mother, Roxie Roker ... the song soars high above the clouds with sentiment.... Not that [Lenny] Kravitz has ever been a true lyric master.... Thus, it's good for him that he still, on occasion, has the ability to kick ass musically. That's the only way to explain "You're My Flavor." Despite played out, your-love-is-like-a-drug metaphors and corny one-liners ... the jam is pure unadulterated fun.
