As a band, we captured the emotion of each song without excess or unnecessary production. As a result, when Jeff (co-producer) and I settled in for the final mixing, all the parts were there. From the beginning, I had set out to create a cd that was positive in focus. I wanted parents to feel comfortable playing it in their homes when the kids were around. I also wanted to include a few songs that both kids and parents could enjoy together. Most of all, I wanted songs that had some depth, that had something to say. From the comments I've received from radio as well as fans, we achieved these goals. I'm very proud of this cd and the people that worked so hard to get it out.
