About this item
Review
The Red Rock Roosters are dealing with high class Southern music like Molly Hatchet on steroids! It's easy to note their passion and happiness on tracks "Red Rock Roosters" with a 50s feeling, "Circuit rider" this epic song is one of the best things I've heard in years, what a chorus and guitar duets, simply immortal and "Glory road" as RRR wrote: "...Glory road is the road that we ride... the kind of fun that no money can buy...". -- AORsters Magazine, June 1999
From the Label
The Roosters are leading a pack of new blues-rock bands that are building on traditional sounds of bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet and The Allman Brothers but with a more modern and very exciting sound.
About the Artist
The Red Rock Roosters are a Denver, Colorado-based blues/rock band. The Roosters collectively have recorded and toured with some of the best known names in the business including: the Outlaws, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Canned Heat, Steppenwolf, Sly and the Family Stone, Journey, B.B. King, Joe Walsh, and Bob Marley. They quickly won-over Colorado audiences with their bluesy, grass-roots sourthern rock style and have opened up a new continent to their sound - recently signing a record deal with Germany's KDB to distribute "Altitude Is Everything" in Europe. The depth of their experience is evident and their substantial musical prowess makes an easy transistion from sizzling live perfromances to the studio. An easy-going stage presence illustrates the collaborative synergy that drives the band. Quickly gaining a strong following world-wide, the band suddenly found themselves in great demand and have already started writing songs for a second album.
