Winner’s are to be presented at the 5th Annual "NAMMYS" Awards ceremonies, to be held at the Marcus Amphitheater, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on September 7th, 2002. Coyote Zen is the creation of composer/producer, Jeffrey Gray Parker (who is of Cherokee descent). Medicine Dog showcases multi-instrumentalist Parker, with featured guest musicians on several tracks. Medicine Dog was released in late 2001, on Parker’s own imprint, PAW Records, and was recorded at Cimarron Sound Lab, located in Tahlequah, Oklahoma (the studio is co-owned by Parker and his wife Margarett).
