The wonderful performers race us through 500 years of changes in the ways that people have related to each other on the dance floor. --Connecticut Post From the Contributor The creation of DANCETIME DVD! 500 Years of Social Dance was based on the success of the video DANCETIME! 50 Years of Social Dance. The DVD has added layers of knowledge. While the dances remain the same as in the video format, the DVD has added the original instructional text for every dance step that is performed. The text is timed perfectly with its dance equivalent. The viewer can choose to enjoy the dances, examine the instructions while the dancing is performed, and/or study the instructions as a research tool. Also, cultural information ties the dances to the social history of the era. This is a unique and valuable resource for the community of people who are interested in dance and our cultural history.
