Family Collector's Set V.3

THE DERBY STALLION Fifteen-year-old Patrick McCardle (Zac Efron) doesn't know what he wants to do with his life, and the pressure put on him by his dad, an ex-professional baseball player, isn't helping. Then Patrick meets Houston Jones (Bill Cobbs), a misunderstood horse trainer who convinces him to train for the famous Derby Cup. But can Patrick convince his parents to let him compete, beat out the rich town bully and somehow find the champion that lies within? BAILEY'S BILLIONS Sweet and savvy talking golden retriever, Bailey (the voice of Jon Lovitz), is one doggone lucky pooch when his devoted owner, Constance Pennington, leaves him her entire billion-dollar fortune. That is, until he becomes the target of an elaborately-designed dognap scheme hatched by Constance's nasty nephew Caspar (Tim Curry) and his money-hungry wife Dolores (Jennifer Tilly). The duo's wicked plan is to ultimately gain custody of the canine so they can get their greedy paws on his inheritance. Unfortunately for them, there's a thing or two they don't know about Bailey. Not only does he have great street smarts, he has great pals too. Bailey's loyal guardian Ted (Dean Cain), kind-hearted animal advocate Marge (Laurie Holden), her daughter Sam, and a clever border collie named Tessa set out on a hilarious madcap adventure to free their four-legged friend and put the nasty dognappers out of business - for good! WHEN ZACHARY BEAVER CAME TO TOWN Based on the National Book Award winning novel by Kimberly Willis Holt, When Zachary Beaver Came to Town is timeless in its appeal. In the spirit of Stand by Me, this is a coming-of-age story for a new generation. On one hot summer's evening, a tiny trailer decorated with Christmas lights rolls into Granger, Texas, with Zachary Beaver (Sasha Neulinger) as his own one-man sideshow with friend and business partner Paulie Rankin as his ringleader. Naturally, the whole town gathers around to take a look, including Toby (Jonathan Lipnicki) and Cal (Cody Linley), who get in line to see "the fattest boy in the world." Out of this unlikely beginning, a friendship develops among the three boys, a friendship that will help carry them through what will be a life-changing summer for all of them. A HORSE FOR DANNY Danny Bara is one eleven-year-old girl who is nobody's fool. She lives at the track with her uncle Eddie, a horse trainer in the race circuit. Danny knows the horses, the scams, and just how and when the races are fixed. Danny knows the odds makers - they depend on her for the inside story. And Danny knows that things are going to go nowhere for Uncle Eddie unless he can make his name with one great horse. Danny has found such a horse. Tom Thumb, a yearling up for sale, has champion potential and she knows it. She isn't fooled by Noel Ferguson, a big-time trainer who is talking Tom Thumb down. And when Moe Tully arrives in town, Danny knows it can only mean one thing - that races are going to be fixed. But there's opportunity in that for her. Placing her bets before school and picking up her winnings after, she is soon able to bankroll Uncle Eddie, along with her friend Gerald, a groom at a competing stable who is ready to stake his savings on Tom Thumb. When Danny's hunch proves correct and Tom Thumb turns out to be a winner, she, Uncle Eddie, and Gerald head off in style for the summer racing season. It's no surprise when Noel Ferguson offers Eddie fifty thousand dollars for Tom Thumb. When Eddie refuses, he and Danny, Gerald and even Tom Thumb get a dose of all the dirty dealing the racing circuit can dish out.
