The singer and her soulfully syncopated crew work their magic by recasting tunes such as the Barry Mann-Cynthia Weil gem, "Just a Little Lovin'," and Toni Fisher's "The Big Hurt." Siegel's sophisticated and sensitive vocals also give justice to Dakota Staton's "The Late, Late Show," Etta Jones's "Don't Go to Strangers," and Nancy Wilson's "(I'm Afraid) The Masquerade Is Over."
