Amazon.com A music video without the video? Well, sort of. Mesa, Arizona's Jimmy Eat World's "DVD EP" is a decidedly mixed bag, what with four audio-only selections (with static photo images) filling out a lineup that also contains three conventional videos and one concert performance with visuals. Included are six selections from Bleed American, the band's 2001 CD, including two versions of the title song; that and the other tunes (including a cover of Wham!'s "Last Christmas") effectively capture the quartet's punchy, powerful, and catchy hard rock sound. What this package mostly appears to be--because, in fact, that's precisely what it is--is a preview/promo for Jimmy Eat World's full-length DVD package, Believe In What You Want. As such, it's a reasonably entertaining but hardly essential purchase. --Sam Graham
