She won the New Jersy Sub-Junior Dry Fly Championship at age 12, only a few years before winning her first national title. She went on to win an international and 17 national championships over the next 16 years -- casting a fly an incredible 161 feet! In 1979 Joan and her husband, Lee, started their dream, the Wulff School of Fishing.
