About this item
Product Description
"Kick It!" is a rare and wonderful collection of some of the best songs ever written, sung and played to perfection by Lannie and her Swingin' Big Band. Dancers and listeners alike will love this CD. Undulate to the energetic, percussive, "Mambo Italiano" and the sultry tropical "Sway".
Swing to Chick Webb's "Play Me a Swing Song" and the bopping "720 In the Book". Lannie's heartfelt deeply romantic rendition of Hoagy Carmichael's "The Nearness of You" will melt your heart. Jump and jive when her band begins to wail on Louis Prima's "Oh Babe" and Big Joe Turner's "Roll 'em Pete". Lindy, Mambo, Swing, Jump. It's all here.
