I asked a 10-Year-Old to review my book about Costa Rica.
After providing me with such great insights on my previous book (Learn About France for Kids), I asked the same 10-year-old what he thought about my book on Costa Rica. After all, this book is meant to appeal to 8-12-year-olds. He was quick with comments: Do most people live in houses or apartments? What's school like in Costa Rica? Arroz Con Leche sounds great! Is there a recipe? Add more pages about wild animals in Costa Rica. Tell me more about cloud forests. What kind of pets do people have? Please clarify: Is it football? Or soccer? Can kids go on adventures like zip-lining? So, I went back to work and included everything to satisfy his 10-year-old curiosity.
Learn About Costa Rica for Kids provides facts about population, wildlife, landscape and language. But peppered throughout are interesting "fun facts", cartoons and stories to make learning about Costa Rica and Pura Vida a fun adventure into another culture.
