About this item
Sometimes monsters aren’t what they seem. School has started and Bobby has a big problem: his teacher, Ms. Kirby, is a real monster with green skin and pointy teeth who roars and won’t let the kids go out for recess. One Saturday morning, Bobby sees his teacher in the park. At first, he wants to escape—but the two talk and Bobby learns things about his teacher that he never expected. Incredibly, Ms. Kirby’s pointy teeth disappear and her greenish skin takes on a more human color. And it’s still true when he returns to school on Monday . . . at least, most of the time.
