About this item

Product Description Featuring expert testimony from bestselling authors and scientists in the fields of neuroscience, psychology, and quantum physics, People v. The State of Illusion follows the tale of one man's incredible transformation and give you, the viewer, the tools to unlock your own reality. Overwhelmed by stress and spiraling downward, Aaron Roberts seeks solace in an innocent drink after work that ultimately leads to an alcohol-related vehicular manslaughter charge and a six-year prison term. Motivated by an unusual encounter while in prison, Roberts begins to challenge his perceptions of the world and actually alter his reality. Combining the uplifting tale of one individual with incredible evidence from experts including psychotherapist Dr. Thomas Moore, neuroscientist Dr. Joe Dispenza, life coach Debbie Ford, and more, this inspiring, provocative film introduces the power of the mind to create the reality we desire and escape the one we don't. About the Actor People v. The State of Illusion is Austin s first venture into film writing and producing. Based on his experience as a trial lawyer, Austin conceived the idea for the film as a way of illustrating the trial of life that each of us must go through. The expert witnesses included in the film are all individuals whose writings over the years in one way or another have shaped or touched Austin and have contributed to the perspective and approach to life that Austin now teaches in his own programs. After creating the idea for the film, Austin went on the road with a film crew and over a 6 month period met with each of the experts and engaged them in a provocative and in-depth interview regarding a variety of topics about life and their perspectives. He then wrote a script for the film, intricately weaving the segments of the interviews that appear in the film today. He then went in search of a Director to bring his idea to life, and life brought him Scott Cervine. Scott brought with him many great ideas and guidance on how to bring the philosophy that Austin had captured in his interviews to life. Austin then wrote the narrative for the film, and Scott went to work bringing that narrative to life by finding amazing set locations, great actors to fill the roles, and creative art direction that gives the film its color and soul. Twelve months later, People v. The State of Illusion is the brilliant culmination of their collaboration. Based on his work in this film and his newly found passion for making movies, Austin launched Exalt Films, a production company committed to writing and producing films designed to elevate and exalt the human spirit.
