The circus is coming to town, and when Barney and his friends learn that Emily has never seen a circus and won't be able to attend, they put one on especially for her. After some research at the local library, Barney and his five friends spread out their parachute and use their imagination to magically transform it into a big-top tent complete with live audience. Barney presides as ringmaster, and his circus features a kids' marching band, a car full of clowns, a lion tamer act, Leonard the tap-dancing duck, and much more. Baby Bop, Barney's human friends, a few circus jugglers and clowns, and Scooter the squirrel figure prominently throughout the show.
