But her relief is short-lived when questions about Dr. Kessler go unanswered, and she is forced to hire Scott Benson, a private investigator, to find out what is going on behind closed doors.
When Scott uncovers a series of suspicious deaths, Josephine seeks to regain custody of her father and finds herself embroiled in a battle that jeopardizes not only her career but her father’s life. In desperation, she turns to Scott unaware that Scott’s own hidden secrets further endangers them when Kessler refuses to relinquish his patient.
