About the Artist Boulder, Colorado guitarist Lynn Patrick was recently named the country’s #1 independent new-age music artist for 2002. Judges included Tom Waits, Ricky Skaggs, Meshell Ndegeocello and Wilson Pickett.Lynn’s album Winnie’s Guitar was also voted the year’s best instrumental album by Just Plain Folks, a Web-based independent music organization boasting more than 12,000 members (jpfolks.com).
