Zilbo’s Forest: What’s Up with That?: Zilbo's Forest: What's Up with That?: A Vibrant Comic about Friendship and Feelings for kids (Ages 4-8) (I Can Read Comics Level 2)

Kids will fall in love with Zilbo's Forest, a humorous, heartfelt, and vibrantly illustrated Level Two I Can Read Comic series geared toward kids who can read on their own but still need a little help sometimes. Bogo the bear runs into his friend Zilbo the dog on his morning walk, but instead of saying hi back, Zilbo ignores him! What’s up with that? Bogo thinks. So caught up in his own hurt feelings, Bogo ignores his friend Hula the horse. Then Hula ignores Tango the turtle. The cycle only stops when Mara the mouse asks the important question: “Are you okay?” With a light touch and a lot of honesty, up-and-coming cartoonist Summer Benton’s Zilbo's Forest: What’s Up with That? encourages visual literacy while demonstrating the power of friendship for our littlest readers. This Level 2 I Can Read Comic is:  Perfect for Developing Readers: Expanded vocabulary and more visual variety helps readers gain confidence reading comics independently. EXPERT-VETTED: The I Can Read Comics program was made in consultation with educators and librarians.
